An incredible 1,000 kindergartens and primary schools across the Czech Republic have now joined our program — teaching children how to recognize the signs of stroke and react quickly and correctly. ⚡

“The fact that 1,000 schools have joined the program proves that teachers are genuinely interested in meaningful, practically useful education. At the same time, it helps children develop empathy and a sense of responsibility,”

says Zuzana Doležalová, Country Manager of the program in the Czech Republic.

The program also brings powerful real-life stories:

“One of the most touching moments was when a four-year-old girl taught the FAST method to her dad – and later, he used it to recognize the signs of stroke in his colleague. Stories like this prove that our program truly saves lives,”

adds Lucie Pražáková, National Coordinator.

A number of professional and educational partners contribute to the program’s implementation, including Aplikace Záchranka.

“We’re glad that the Záchranka App is part of the FAST Heroes campaign. Teaching children from an early age how to respond in emergencies and call for help makes a huge difference – not only in terms of first aid, but also in developing awareness and empathy. Combining modern technologies with education and awareness-raising in schools is a great way forward,”

says Maria Brindzáková, spokesperson for the Záchranka App.

🧠 A heartfelt thank you to all schools, teachers, and partners who help raise awareness of stroke symptoms and support intergenerational learning.

🌍 The FAST Heroes campaign runs in more than 20 countries worldwide, aiming to teach one million children how to save their grandparents.
